1. About Fliqa WedPlan
Fliqa WedPlan (“the Application”) is a mobile application developed, published, and operated by FliqaIndia Pvt. Ltd. (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), a company incorporated under the laws of India. Fliqa WedPlan is an organization utility designed to assist couples, families, and organizers in planning wedding ceremonies, tracking budgets, managing guest lists, maintaining vendor records, and tracking checklist milestones.
Fliqa WedPlan is currently free to use with no subscription fees, mandatory in-app purchases, or financial transaction processing.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information strictly necessary to provide wedding planning capabilities. The types of data processed include:
- Account Credentials: Name, email address, and unique user authentication identifiers generated when registering or logging in.
- Wedding Configuration Data: Planned wedding date, city location, partner names, and overall target budget.
- Budget & Expense Records: Custom budget allocation categories, recorded expense amounts, payment statuses (“paid”, “pending”, “partially_paid”), and date records.
- Guest List & RSVP Details: Guest names, group categories (family, friends, colleagues), party affiliation, and RSVP statuses.
- Ceremony Schedules: Event titles, dates, timings, and venues for traditional Indian ceremonies (such as Haldi, Mehendi, Sangeet, Wedding, and Reception).
- Vendor Information: Contact names, phone numbers, service categories (e.g. photography, catering, venue), and notes entered manually by the user.
- Technical & Diagnostic Data: Device model, operating system version, and anonymized crash logs collected via official Google Play and Firebase SDKs to ensure stability.
What We Do NOT Collect: Fliqa WedPlan does not collect or request bank account credentials, credit card numbers, background GPS coordinates, biometric identifiers, or government identity documents.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect for specific operational purposes:
- To provide wedding planning features, task scheduling, and countdown timers.
- To synchronize wedding planning data across your verified devices when logged in.
- To perform mathematical budget calculations, expense totals, and RSVP summaries.
- To facilitate user account recovery, authentication, and security verifications.
- To diagnose application crashes, optimize performance, and improve reliability.
- To respond to user support inquiries directed to support@fliqaindia.com.
4. Account Authentication
Fliqa WedPlan utilizes Google Firebase Authentication to manage user identity securely. The supported authentication methods are:
- Email and Password: Uses encrypted credentials processed directly by Firebase Auth. FliqaIndia never stores raw, plaintext user passwords.
- Google Sign-In: Uses Google OAuth 2.0. We only receive your verified email address, display name, and avatar URL provided by Google.
5. Guest Mode vs. Cloud Sync
Fliqa WedPlan supports two distinct planning modes:
- Guest Mode (Local Only): Users may choose to use the application without registering or signing in. In Guest Mode, all wedding plans, expenses, tasks, and guest lists remain stored exclusively in your device’s local SQLite/AsyncStorage storage. No personal data is transmitted to our cloud servers. Clearing device app data or uninstalling the app permanently erases local records.
- Authenticated Cloud Sync: When you register or sign in, your wedding records are encrypted and synchronized with our Google Cloud Firestore database, enabling multi-device access and backup protection.
6. Cloud Data Storage
Cloud-synchronized information is hosted on Google Cloud Platform via Google Cloud Firestore in the asia-south1 (Mumbai, India) region. All data in transit is protected using TLS/HTTPS encryption, and data at rest is encrypted using standard AES-256 cloud encryption.
7. Third-Party Services
Fliqa WedPlan integrates only with verified, essential infrastructure service providers:
- Google Firebase (Google LLC): Authentication, Cloud Firestore database, and crash diagnostic reporting.
- Google Play Services (Google LLC): Core runtime distribution, security verification, and app updates.
We do not embed third-party advertising SDKs, data brokers, or behavioral analytics trackers.
8. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal information to third parties.
Your data is only disclosed under the following strictly limited circumstances:
- Service Fulfillment: To infrastructure vendors (Google Cloud) acting on our instructions under strict confidentiality agreements.
- Legal Compliance: When required by Indian law, judicial decree, or authorized governmental authority.
- Safety & Protection: To prevent fraud, protect the security of our services, or defend our legal rights.
9. Data Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security controls:
- TLS/HTTPS transport encryption across all mobile-to-cloud communications.
- Granular Firestore Security Rules ensuring users can only read or write their own wedding documents.
- Principle of least privilege for backend and administrative access.
Please note that no method of electronic transmission or cloud storage is 100% impenetrable. We encourage you to safeguard your Google account credentials and device access.
10. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the wedding planning service or until you request its deletion:
- Active Accounts: Retained while your account remains active so you can access your wedding planning records.
- Guest Mode Data: Retained on your device until manually deleted or until the app is uninstalled.
- Deleted Data: Purged from active production databases immediately upon verified deletion request. Cloud backup snapshots cycle out according to standard 30-day rotation policies.
11. Account & Data Deletion
You have the unequivocal right to request permanent deletion of your account and all associated wedding planning records. You do not need to have the app installed to submit a deletion request.
We provide two deletion options:
- Option A (Full Account Deletion): Eradicates your authentication identity, user profile, wedding record, and all subcollections (budget, expenses, tasks, guests, events, vendors).
- Option B (Wedding Data Only): Eradicates wedding planning records while allowing you to keep your Fliqa WedPlan account for future events.
12. User Choices and Rights
Under Indian data protection frameworks (including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you hold the following rights:
- The right to access and review personal information associated with your account.
- The right to correct or update inaccurate wedding details directly in the app.
- The right to withdraw consent and delete your account or wedding data.
- The right to export or request details of information processed.

13. Children’s Privacy
Fliqa WedPlan is intended for adults organizing wedding celebrations. The service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

We may periodically revise this Privacy Policy to reflect app updates, legal obligations, or service improvements.
